Time: Reenactment starts at 11 AM and is repeated at 3 PM but families can arrive at 8:30 AM and stay for the day.
Location: Collings Foundation, 137 Barton Road, Stow, MA
Details: The Collings Foundation is hosting an amazing WWII reenactment and WWII Veterans roundtable discussion. There will be over 150 reenactors representing several branches of Allied and Axis military. Fully restored military equipment of all kinds will be on display and participating in an amazing living history event. This includes: tanks, cannons, troop carriers, halftracks, aircraft and weapons. Allied and Axis camps will be set up with authentic materials and appearance. Hear stories of survival and perseverance told by WWII Veterans.
Cost: Pre-Purchased tickets are $18 for adults, $8 for children 12 years and younger (buy online at – http://www.collingsfoundation.org/cf_battle2011.htm)
- Tickets purchased at entrance are $20 per adult and $10 for children 12 and younger
Note: This event is also held on Saturday October 8th but will not be an official scouting trip if families wish to attend.
